The Red Ribbon Dance in Chinatown | Portraits of Strangers
I weaved myself around other subway passengers, up stairs and out of Canal St. Station's maze, and into New York City's Chinatown. A few minutes of wandering and turns landed me at my desired destination: Columbus Park. The scene was a busy one for a weekday afternoon; the subjects shown were more than pleased to be in front of my camera, and I was thrilled to capture the weightlessness and curves of their dancing ribbons.
